The only problem I'm having with Hero equipment is that I cant get rid of their crappie weapons. They are filling up my inventory and I have no way to get rid of them.

I have been scouring the Desert for good collector weapons and have found more than enough to supply my heroes with decent replacements for their original weapons but, now my inventory is full of junk weapons.

Does anyone know how I can ditch this junk? I've tried to put them into my storage chest, sell them, and throw them away out side of town but I'm still stuck with them and my storage space is hurting over it.

To delete un-sellable weapons/items, simply open your inventory, click on the item, and drag it into the trash can located to the right of your storage bags.

Having the equipment and builds on Heros, along with experience level, being account based would be nice. But when one character unlocks a Hero, the others should have to unlock them manually as well.

How's that a problem? Newbie island is short and once you get off it, getting them to level 20 takes almost no time.

Not to mention most people have 5 or so level 20 characters for the other continents.

Though if it was such a problem, they could throw an NPC that provides the outfitting service to your Heroes behind Consulate docks.

"To fully enjoy the game you want max runes and well equipped heroes."

1. You don't need max runes for heroes. Especially not vigor. Maybe major Vigor on Koss if you think you really need it. Equipment? Mostly what I have just found. I've spent comparatively little on my heroes, and finished the game. Part of the fun was finding some item and realizing that one hero or another could use it, bit better than what they had. By the end of the game they are all acceptably equipped and weapons, shields, and items cost me nothing.

2. Well equipped heroes can be heroes using collector stuff. And here I think I will complain to ANet that there should be a list of collectors and what they have to offer in-game that expands as you open up areas. Guildwiki is so overloaded right now I can't ever get into it.

How about if you have to level them each up, and unlock them, but let them keep all of the weapons and mods you've given them. Don't know how hard that would be to do, but... I can see it being kind of silly to have level 20 heroes on starter island.

... What?... Not to just be spamming a post... but buddy... really... that was the most pathetic winge of a post i have ever read...

If you cant afford to equip your characters. you know what you can do... SAAAAAVE!...

i mean people always moan there is nothing to do before the next campaign and when we finally get something we can work for anr enjoy and equip like we equip ourselves... you MOAN!

surely... SURELY! you are able to farm or make money in some other way... i unserstand its frustrating to some extent because its nto actually for your Character ... but it is part of your Character. embrase it and pimp your heroes... shhhhhhhhh

*sigh* you just cant please some people ay.

You don't need superior runes on your henchmen. In fact, major will do great.

Sup vig runes? No need, really.

You're crafting the weapons? Why not just get collectors items? Sure, it will take you a little longer, but at least you won't have to forum-rage about spending 15k.

In all honestly theres only a few cases where you could sorta make an argument that you NEED runes for heores, only one I can say for sure I know I'd want, is a superior death for a MM hero. The rest I only add what I've found so far; Total spent on heroes: 0g. And that's across 4 characters now.

So big deal, Koss doesn't have a perfect 15^50 Sundering 20/20 +30 fort or whatever you kids and your music want nowadays. I've got him with some axe I picked up and he's got a 14^50 mod which I salvaged (Oh Noes! -1% from [email protected]!!), 9/10 furious mod, and +26 fort mod, both of which I found. So big deal, they aren't perfect, Is it imperfect to the point I'll actually notice a difference? No.

I think they screwed up with heros. They should have an item that the stats are based on its level. say like for Koss, he should have a sword or axe that the damage, req, and dmg mod goes up with each level. say like 5>50 until level 5, 10>50 until level 10, 12>50 until level 15, 15>50 after level 15. just an idea.

What i did was buy some cheap greens before NF came out. The scar eater (2), wings axe, ssaki's sword, vilnars staff, gihals staff, crafted a fire staff from kaineg center and put a en+5 head, ar+5 wrap (like 15k total), daggers of xukaido or some crap that was like 2k but max dmg, and an elswyths recurve for like 5k, and a crafted tactics -5/30 shield.

I bought those and spent a total of like 75k and i have a full set of weapons for one whole characters hero's. bring one character through at a time and transfer the weapons from that characters heros and put them on the other.

I don't think they should make the Heroes account based, but they should make their weapon storage account based. So, if I put a perfect axe and shield on my Koss, the perfect axe and shield should appear on every Koss throughout my account.

It sucks that everytime I switch chars that I have to remember to pull the weapons off my hero and put it in the xunlai storage. It's either that or using one hero with a crappy weapon, while the same hero on my other char is using a perfect weapon.

I like this idea...it would work just like armor. And you could buy weapon mods and apply them to the henchies weapons and then salvage them when you don't need them with no risk of destroying the item (just like runes on hero armor).

Yes, but you cannot craft the other mods for the weapon such as a sword pommel of fortitude.

I found that the heroes make for some great storage-extenders. finally I can free up the slots in my xunlai that all those greens were taking up ^^

i dont belive this has been posted but if u use an exsisting character heros can use all weapons customized 2 the player that owns them for example my koss uses my axe while i sword and my sword while axe which gives him perfect weapons and all preorder weapons like the spear and sythe and the daggers can be used by the heros so thats nice cheap equipment.

and i also agree heros should be account based so u can use any weapons customized around your account for the heros and they should be balanced with the area u are in like when u start in kamadan they r level 2 when u finish the first mission on noob island they will be level 5 ect and will be lvl upon arrival to the sunspear sanctuary
